GO3 Tokens

VASCO - Strong Authentication
Swift Call has partnered with one of the world's leading developers of security devices, VASCO, to provide a reasonably priced, token-based security option. With 10 million Digipass units in use, VASCO has established itself as a world-leader for strong Identity Authentication with over 300 banks world-wide, and approximately 1000 blue-chip corporations and governments in more than 60 countries.

We have chosen to work with VASCO's newly released GO3 Token, initially in a Response Only mode with one-time passwords. It provides strong authentication in a package designed for the highest convenience and user acceptability.

The Swift system will also have the option of using other Digipass devices in the future should it be necessary to provide for digitally signed transactions, or if server authentication is also required.

VASCO GO3 Token

The GO3 Token is designed to be carried on a key chain. It has a simple one-button operation, a high contrast LCD display and an expected 5 year lifetime. The colour of the Token can be personalised by the financial institution and can be overprinted with a logo, subject to minimum quantity purchases.

Once the unit has been configured (to suit your authentication needs) and is handed over to the user, they don't need to read lengthy manuals or call on the Institution's staff for help. Its use is obvious and simple, requiring virtually no support or training.

VASCO's "Vacman Controller" authentication software has been integrated into the Swift Call inetSecure Authentication Software package so that this facility can be activated at any time. The Vacman Controller is a proven solution, operating flawlessly in many different environments today. The system is completely scalable, supporting an unlimited number of authorised users.

To better help address the issues Swift Call has produced a document that details the use of the Token in Internet Banking, which is available on request.
