Touch Screen Kiosks
put a user-friendly face to your services and they are the
most intuitive way to interact with any computer system.
Touch Screen technology allows you to put a computer terminal directly under the control of your clients. The touch sensitive screen allows them to interact with your host computer system without needing to be familiar with either a computer keyboard or the sometimes cryptic commands and menu selections they would normally have to deal with. The selection of functions, with the aid of graphic symbols and images, enhances the system's operation by unskilled or occasional users.
Importantly, the touch screen has no moving parts or exposed components - allowing it to be used in public places (depending upon the kiosk style).
Extensive development of the Touch Terminals by Swift Call's engineers, and our kiosk manufacturing partners, has ensured that the ergonomics of use and placement have been well considered.
Kiosk Styles and Options
Kiosks come in many styles and, of course, some kiosk applications don't require a touch screen interface so there are options for keyboards and other input devices. Swift has established a relationship with Abuzz Technologies to supply their range of locally produced kiosks using either Swift's own specially developed touch screen software or using a restricted browser for delivering web oriented pages.
